Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
